PROGRAMS

Book Sale
An annual used book sale sponsored by the Thomas Township Library is held in late spring. The selections offered include novels, romances, nonfiction, children's books, puzzles and more. Most items are priced at .25 and .50 each. The proceeds are used to help support the children's summer reading program.
Donations of slightly used books, puzzles and media are accepted throughout the year and are the foundation of the sale.

Reading/Discussion Group
If you are interested in quality reading and participating in lively discussions, the adult reading group is for you. Participants meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. to review the latest selection. If interested, contact the library so that a copy of the upcoming title can be reserved for you.

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Craft Nights

Seasonal craft activities are scheduled during the school year. Contact the libary for upcoming events.

Preschool Story Time
Stories, songs and crafts are presented for independent listeners ages three to five. The sessions are held October through April on Tuesday at 10 to 11 AM and Wednesday 6:30 PM to 7 PM. Advance registration is not required but please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.

Summer Reading

This annual program for listeners and readers begins in mid-June and continues through July. Participants earn incentive prizes for their time spent listening or reading. Special events are held on Tuesdays during the six-week program. This is a great way for children to reinforce their reading skills during the summer.

Age appropriate activities include stories, rhymes, fingerplays and flannel board activities. Four consecutive weekly sessions are held in October, December, February and April on Mondays at 10:30 AM. Advance registration is required.

Teen Poetry & Short Story Contest
